Thank you for the questions regarding the election. We have put together answers to some of the most commonly asked questions. When is the election?

The Seneca-Cayuga Nation election will take place on June 6, 2020.

How will votes be cast?

All votes will be cast via absentee ballot. The absentee ballots will be mailed to all registered members of the Seneca-Cayuga Nation that are 18 years of age or older. Members will fill out the ballots and mail them back to a third party election auditor. All candidates who have previously registered for candidacy in this election will be included on this ballot.

How will the votes be counted?

All ballots will be mailed directly from the voting tribal members to a post office box established by our election contractor.  The third party election contractor works directly with the Election Committee to tabulate and certify election results.
