The Seneca-Cayuga Nation Tag Office proudly serves members residing in Oklahoma by providing a variety of vehicle tags, including Automobile, Motorcycle, RV, Trailer, Commercial, Veteran, and Handicap tags. To qualify for a tag, individuals must present a current tribal ID, proof of residency, a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, the original title, and proof of insurance. For pricing details, please refer to the Vehicle Registration Fee tab below. We accept payments in Cash, Check, Money Order, or debit/credit cards. Please note that a 8% service fee will be applied to card transactions. Checks should be made payable to Seneca-Cayuga Tax Commission.

Mason Treat Act Advisement. Tribal members who purchase a new vehicle and receive a 10-day temporary tag, but have not received a title, should:
  • Remove the tribal tag from your trade-in vehicle
  • Tell the dealership that you will be registering your vehicle with your tribe, and you will need the following
    • A physical paper title(not an electronic title)
    • A 10 day temporary paper tag
  • The dealership will issue a temporary paper tag that expires 10 days from purchase
  • Within those 10 days, appear in the tribal tag office with your documents from the dealership, which are your Bill of Sale and Finance documents
  • Once the tribal tag office has verified that the buyer is eligible for a tribal tag, we will issue a numbered license plate (or transfer a previously issued plate, example being a Veteran or personalized plate) and a temporary decal that expires within 30 days
  • Once you have received the title for your newly purchased vehicle and it is presented to the tag office, the tag office will then complete the registration of your vehicle, and you will receive your title, registration, and decal which will be good for one year from the month of registration

 

Notice!
  • No mail-in registrations on new vehicles will be accepted. The new vehicle and the registering person present at the tag office. The tag agent is required to do a VIN inspection.
  • The tribal member's name must be on the title at the time of the inspection if there is a lien on the vehicle. The tag agent cannot add or remove names to the title without the permission of the lending agency.
